A quieter way to begin the year.
January has a reputation. New goals, new systems, new year, new you; Juxtaposed with the sleepiness of a return to work after a well-deserved break.
There’s a natural recalibration that happens when we allow our minds to rest. In the stolen-moments away from your growing to-do list, you may find yourself reflecting on what is and isn’t working. That pause can bring new ideas to surface and a renewed sense of motivation around your ways of working.
I see this with teams in Asana all the time: The urge to start from scratch. While there is satisfaction in tearing it all down and rebuilding, it can quickly lead to overwhelm. Most times you can make a big impact by observing where things flow easily, where they get stuck, and what deserves attention before adding anything new.
The year has only just begun. There’s plenty of time to build.
Which small shift would be most impactful for you right now?
