Feature Focus: Asana Spring Release
Hey, friends! So many updates to share this month.
New Asana task pane: Not gonna lie, this rolled out for me right after I hooked up my Claude integration and I was fully convinced that I broke my Asana workspace. I’m not really sure how I feel about the new look. Anyone else starting to see this role out? What do you think? For me, it’s taken some getting used to that the apps are now at the bottom.

Rumor has it Asana AI Teammates is finally launching publicly this month. I’ve been using the beta for a couple of months and am excited to see what the final product ends up looking like. I’m thinking about offering an AI Teammates webinar to the rotation, hit reply if that’s something you’d be interested in!
The Asana Spring Release is bringing us more Ambassador requested features, plus some major updates to rules and templates.
Adding existing custom task types to a project template - Requested by Jan-Rienk Hemminga
Saved view tabs to be supported in Project templates - Requested by Richard Sather
Scheduled rule triggers - Requested by Rodolphe Vito
Text Field Trigger Conditions - This release can help massively scale back Asana AI credit consumption who are using AI Studio to run checks on text strings.
Saved Views on supported project templates - For everyone who is tired of including “Set Up Instructions” task on your templates, this one’s for us!
