The Note view in Asana is a great way to keep everything in one place. Whether you use it to track meeting notes or a quick landing page for Key Resources, here are 3 practical uses for this function you may not have known about.

Adding a Note View

It’s easy to add a Note view to your project! Just click the + in your top view bar and select Note. You can customize their names, add as many Note views as you like, rearrange them, set as default, etc.

Asana even has pre-built templates to give you a starting point for page layouts.

Using Notes for Key Resources

One of my favorite ways to use Notes is as a landing page for Key Resources. I use this to hold critical SOP links, related projects, charts and images, and milestone tasks.

Using Notes for Meeting Notes

While I have a personal preference for keeping meeting notes in tasks, the notes is a great feature for those migrating their meeting notes out of Google Docs!

A few key features to bump it up a notch are using /h1 to set each meeting date as a headline and expanding the table of contents on the left to quickly jump between notes for prior dates (save yourself the scroll!)

PRO-TIP: Convert your Action Items into tasks instantly by highlighting the text and clicking “Create Task.”

For marketing teams, I love using Notes to house Campaign details! Pull in your key milestones, link to your external resources, and even paste in in your final assets and cop
